[...] The iSkin resolves this problem for Apple laptops. I have one on my old G3 iBook and it works a treat. In fact I liked it so much I bought another one recently for my new MacBook Pro that should be landing sometime between Dec. 4th and Dec. 14 th (according to Apples ever changing delivery schedule). But we shouldn’t have to shell out separately for this stuff, it should come as standard. Via: Sinéad | Tags: technology keyboard iskin [...]

I want the house alarm dongle. You close the front door and press a button on your keys, then all doors and windows in the house lock and the alarm turns on.

Getting the garden gnomes to flash and beep would be going too far....

@Bernie the way they build houses here you'd be better off starting from scratch rather than trying to make it as energy efficient as possible. ;)

@Markham I'm with Stephen on this one.

@Grandad I 100% agree with you on this one. I blame Microsoft and Google for this. Microsoft for making all the other software giants think it's okay to launch incomplete titles and to keep sending people out software/security updates and to Google for keeping everything in "beta".

[...] Read the replies to the science week inspired question “What change would you make to an existing piece of technology” here. If someone would like to keep the ball rolling please do. We all need inspiration at some point – I’m quite a sporadic Blogger, science week was the most I’ve ever written in such a short space of time, of course there was that extra piece of motivation too.
