Irish Blog Research 2009, Survey Closes
Thank you to everyone that filled out my research survey. The response rate was double what I had hoped for and I’m really looking forward to analysing the data. Thank you so much to everyone that posted links to the survey on their own blogs, who retweeted it on twitter and emailed it to their friends. Thanks to Sabrina Dent for all her great ideas ideas (that definitely worked!), to all my tweeties that helped pilot study the survey and thanks to Irishblogs.ie for highlighting the research for me.

Thanks for the thanks! Best of luck with the putting the thesis together. I suppose the large response you got from your survey could itself be used as an indicator of the power of the blog and other social networking tools!

@Roger No problem… Actually, Survey Monkey doesn’t have an analytics section so I couldn’t track exactly where survey respondents were being referred from but if I could have it would have made a really interesting subsection in my thesis with regard to the power of blogging/twitter in social research.
