Book Inbox (10)

Christmas was very good to me.

I’ve already flown through the latest Buffy graphic novel (which isn’t that good I’m sad to report) and am half way through “What The Dog Saw” by Malcom Gladwell (bedside reading, one chapter before bed each night, it’s wonderful). But below is the remaining books I have left to both start and finish.

Really looking forward to “And Another Thing…” as I have been re-reading the Hitch-hikers series to set myself up and I’m almost finished now. I’ve really enjoyed my forth read of the trilogy of five, fingers crossed for the sixth.

I’ve made myself a book inbox before, and I was delighted that other people followed suit. Would love to see what’s in your book inbox now.

I think I may have copied you too. Have got through most of that – though a few aren’t the kind of books you read in one go.

I meant to buy that Pinker book before. Myself and the missus bought each other Bad Science for Christmas! Is the stroke insight by the same woman who did that Ted Talk about her stroke?

Yeah I’m looking forward to starting Stuff of Thought, it’s a pretty big book though, so might swap it for my bedside reading when I’m finished What The Dog Saw.

Stroke of Insight is indeed by the same woman that did the Ted talk, Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, it’s my absolute favourite Ted talk, should be a really good read.

My fella is about two thirds through And Another Thing… now, even with chuckle breaks every couple of minutes. A good sign. Can’t wait til he’s finished with it, although I’ve the new Iain Banks (and a ton of other stuff) to get through first! Praps I’ll post a pic of my own stack…

Would love to see your own stack Catherine :) glad to hear it about And Another thing.
