Spotted: Designer Diet Coke
Brown Thomas, Dublin, is over-run with these “limited edition” Patricia Field created Diet Coke bottles, their recommended retail price is €10, but are currently going for €5. Perhaps BT should have put these in refrigeration to help sales? Overpriced, but visually pleasing nonetheless.

Spotted: Tesco Milk Advertising Space
The Americans have missing school children on their milk - we get… advertising!

Spotted: Tim Loves Phantom
I just spotted this rather interesting advertisement on Facebook. I wonder if my own face will be appearing along side the products and services that I am a fan of. I wonder what Tim thinks of his endorsement.

Tim is in my network of friends, so I assume this is why this ad has been targeted towards me. I must admit, it got my attention pretty quick and I’m very impressed. It is neither intrusive nor annoying because I actually care what my friends online might be a fan of, though, for those on FB with 100’s of friends they don’t actually know, this might be a tad annoying, especially if they are incompatible taste wise. Not like Timmy and I!
It’s a pity the ad wasn’t targeted enough to know that I’m already a fan of Phantom.
Spotted: Live in a Cinema
I’ve always loved the art deco front of the old Strand Cinema and I’m glad they kept it for this apartment redevelopment. Though the apartments themselves are quite pricey and unfortunately are situated in a rather iffy area on the North Strand Road and close to the East Wall too. If they were closer to Fairview they might be worth the €300,000 each (edit: not 100% sure about this price). A real pity too, because the building itself is gorgeous and the redevelopment is lovely - complete with art deco style foyer with old movie posters.

Spotted: Outdoor Table Tennis in Dublin City Centre
These look like fun. Spotted in the small park at the corner of Lower Gardiner Street and Lower Sean Mac Dermott Street. I remember there being one of these in Wolfe Tone Memorial Park (near Jervis Street) a few years back, but it didn’t last. A real pity too. Time to get my paddles out. Anyone fancy a lunchtime challenge?
